Scott Galloway, Ferndale Councilman, Supports Instant Runoff Voting In Ferndale

Scott Galloway, Councilman in Ferndale, Michigan, espoused the benefits of Instant Runoff Voting at the city's June 14, 2004 council meeting:

""I've given this a lot of thought since you folks [F-IRV] started coming before Council and made me aware of it. I've spoken with some people today whose opinion I very much respect. I'm now convinced that at least we ought to give voters the opportunity to adopt this method of elections in the city of Ferndale."

With this statement, Galloway joined many other notable local and national leaders in endorsing this advanced system of elections.
