Upcoming F-IRV Events

• FIRV/Proposal B rally at Xhedos Cafe on October 9th 1-3pm:
  
  A presentation on IRV will be accompanied by some local entertainment. Presenters include Craig Covey, Sean Kosofsky and Kat Bruner. As a special bonus, attendees will be treated to phone calls plugging IRV from former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic and Dead Kennedys lead singer Jello Biafra. The rally will be followed by a call for volunteers to hits the streets of Ferndale to ring some doorbells for Proposal B.

• The League of Women Voters will sponsor an Information forum on Instant Runoff Voting on Monday, October 18th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Ferndale City Hall, in the Council Meeting Room. The forum will probably last 60 minutes, but could go a little longer or shorter depending on the interest or dialogue, or number of questions. The forum will also most likely be televised live on cable, as well as replayed several times before the November 2 election.
